Namaste! "I honor the place within you where the entire universe resides. I honor the place within you of Love and Light, of Truth and Peace. When you are in that place in you, and I am in that place in me, there is only ONE of us." Please give me your reactions to the poems and thoughts in this blog. (Critiques and disagreements are equally welcome) Simply click anywhere you see "Comment" and then on "Post a comment." I'll really appreciate your doing this, and will often respond. Peace!

It is a sad truth that the civil war is still being fought. What did all those Americans on both sides die for, when 150 years later there still remains these kinds of segregational laws in some states?
The arguement that some still use is that the civil war was fought over states rights. But that is only half of the story. Yes, it was fought over states rights, the right to hold slaves, for pity sakes!
When will it all end?
